Occurrence of surge pressure or water-hammer effects in pipelines has the potential to damage to pipes/ networks, and in many cases, have caused accidents and fatalities.
Surge study of pipelines will help to verify the safety of the design and set the operation conditions of the pipeline system. The main objectives of this investigation is to conduct surge simulation studies in the pipeline system under study and to evaluate the maximum surge effects at various locations.
